National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS” and Drohobych City Council signed a Memorandum of Cooperation within the framework of the project “Strengthening Communities For Ukraine’s Victory and Revival”, “Strengthening Public Trust” USAID/UCBI III.
“We signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Yaroslav Sydorovych, co-founder and member of the board of ANTS. The document’s purpose is to provide public certification of the parties’ cooperation aimed at achieving the common goal of victory in the Ukrainian people’s struggle against the russian federation’s armed aggression, as well as support for local self-government in overcoming the consequences of destruction, socioeconomic, cultural, and other losses caused by the aggressor country’s military actions. Also, the question is in the establishment of conditions for the local territorial community’s rapid recovery and long-term economic development,” – Taras Kuchma, Mayor of Drohobych stated.
ANTS board member Yaroslav Sydorovych and expert Oksana Yurynets, along with city council member Yuriy Kushlyk, investment management and economic development specialist Mykola Rupniak, and Drohobych City Institute director Volodymyr Kondzolka, discussed Drohobych’s problems and solutions during the meeting.
We would like to remind you that the project “Strengthening Communities For Ukraine’s Victory and Revival”, “Strengthening Public Trust” USAID/UCBI III is intended to assist Ukrainian communities during and after the war. Despite the reality of war, Ukrainian communities will have more opportunities for recovery and development as a result of the project, as the target communities require practical recommendations and algorithms for rapid recovery and development. Thus, experts will provide analytical and advisory support for the development of recovery strategies for communities affected by the russian federation’s military aggression, according to the project.
