The project focuses on building a youth advocacy group capable of influencing tobacco and nicotine control legislation in Ukraine in line with EU standards. Participants will receive training on public policy, learn to identify tobacco industry tactics, and develop an analytical document with recommendations for the Verkhovna Rada and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. At the same time, participants will run their own advocacy campaign — meeting with Members of Parliament, engaging with the relevant parliamentary committee, and launching a social media communication campaign. The project operates on a learning-by-doing model: knowledge is applied in practice from day one.
