The project involved a series of in-depth interviews with individuals who have experience, knowledge, and a comprehensive vision of how to address the issues that may arise after the de-occupation of Donbas and Crimea. The project’s author is Nataliya Veselova, a member of ANTS, an expert in social policy and reintegration, and a Member of Parliament of Ukraine (2014-2019). She is also a co-author of laws aimed at protecting the rights of internally displaced persons. The project aimed to conduct in-depth research and discuss the most pressing and complex issues: the vision for the future of the liberated regions of Donbas and Crimea, the problems that may arise during the reintegration process, and how to prevent internal conflict after the return of the territories.
