Inflation in Ukraine may reach 30% by the end of the year — Neskhodovskyi

In Ukraine, inflation is currently 22%, and it is expected to reach 30% by the end of the year.

Ilya Neskhodovsky, the head of the analytical department of the National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS”, stated this in the Hromadske.

“As for me, 30% inflation is inflated, but the situation in Ukraine is that some processes are frozen and have no effect on inflation, particularly on gas prices. The gas price is fixed today, and there are some challenges,”- says Neskhodovsky.

According to him, it is unclear how Russia’s sanctions on oil products will be maintained, and there are numerous risks.

“We have 22% inflation now, and according to the year’s results, we will have 30%, because inflationary processes are taking place. By the end of the year, I expect inflation to be around 29-30%,” – says the head of the analytical department of the National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS”.
