Russia’s war against Ukraine is not only a territorial invasion — it is also a direct assault on human rights. The rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine are being violated daily: the right to life, security, education, healthcare, and freedom of speech — this is just a fraction of what millions of Ukrainians endure every day.
During the round table, we will discuss:
-
How exactly constitutional rights of citizens are being violated under the conditions of war;
-
What protection mechanisms can still function even in a state of emergency;
-
The role that civil society organizations, youth, and internally displaced persons can play in documenting and highlighting these violations;
-
How Ukrainian society can contribute to international human rights advocacy.
We invite: representatives of civil society organizations, youth initiatives, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and active citizens.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is required via the following link.
