Drohobych community: Memorandum on cooperation and Concept of reconstruction and sustainable economic development were adopted at the city session

The Drohobych urban territorial community’s cooperation memorandum and the Concept of reconstruction and sustainable economic development were adopted at the city council session. Several months of hard work together with representatives of 30 Ukrainian communities on individual concepts within the framework of the project “Strengthening Communities For Ukraine’s Victory and Revival” and now they are approved and will be implemented.

“Such cooperation is intended to unite and coordinate efforts in resisting russia’s armed and military aggression against Ukraine, protecting the interests of the local territorial community, contributing to its reconstruction and development, forming civil society, attracting international aid, and developing and implementing strategic plans,” – Drohobych community representatives explain.

As Oksana Yurynets, an expert of the National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS” emphasizes, this decision was preceded by a meeting of the commission and the conciliation board, which included this issue in the agenda.

“As well as a lot of interaction and collaboration with all process stakeholders”. She describes ANTS as a “network for the protection of national interests that works to strengthen communities for the sake of victory and revival of Ukraine”.

We would like to remind you that on September 6, Taras Kuchma, the mayor of Drohobych, and the National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

This project “Strengthening Communities For Ukraine’s Victory and Revival”, “Strengthening Public Trust” USAID/UCBI III is implemented with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
