ANTS network member Yuliya Vusenko participated in the 44th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
During the speech, Vusenko said that Ukrainian local self-government lives in radically different conditions. But despite all the terrible crimes committed by russia, Ukrainians do not lose their optimism and believe in victory.
She urged Congressional delegates to unite and continue to work on petitioning national governments for increased sanctions, increased arms support, accelerated reparations payments, confiscation of russian assets for our recovery, and the implementation of the tribunal.
It should be noted that during the 44th session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe, the Declaration on the anniversary of russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine was supported.
The Council of Europe’s support for the Declaration is a step towards victory, but there is still much work to be done. Let us remain united and continue to work for our victory and a better future.
