GLAMMONS — an innovative approach to cultural institutions (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums as shared community assets)

A preliminary introduction to the European GLAMMONS project, which has developed and proposes a new approach to the management and financing of galleries, libraries, archives, and museums. The event will be of interest both to representatives of independent cultural institutions and to professionals working in the public (budget-funded) sector.

Nataliia will share her experience of participating in one of the network’s workshops, which focused on community-level shared governance of cultural institutions. Lyusyena will present current Ukrainian practices in this field.

During the event, you will learn about the GLAMMONS network, which brings together cultural institutions from across Europe to explore new methods of sustainable development and cooperation in the face of emerging challenges. You will also discover similar practices in Ukraine and take part in a discussion on the relevance of these approaches for today’s Ukrainian context.
