Forum Cultural revival: regional development

The Project of the ANTS National Interest Advocacy Network “Restoring Ukraine Together” with the support of the European Union will hold the Forum “Cultural revival: regional development”.

Date and time of the event:  18 August 2023,  10:00 – 17:00.

Venue: Korsakiv Museum of contemporary art, Lutsk.

Goals of the forum: 

  • ways to restore the cultural sector at the local level during and after the war.
  • development of recommendations on state policy and improvement of the mechanism of financing culture and art of local self-government bodies based on the analytical report “The state of financing culture and art from local budgets: main trends”.   • promotion of best practices of effective public-private partnership in the field of cultural development at the regional level.

Volodymyr Vorobei (tbc) – the Founder and Director of PPV Knowledge Networks, an economic development agency that creates and develops businesses and business networks.

Yulia Fediv  – Director of Hromadske TV, winner of the 2021 UN Women Prize for Cultural Management, first executive director of the state Ukrainian Cultural Foundation and head of the National Bureau of the European Union’s Creative Europe programme for culture and creative industries in Ukraine.

Taras Marshalok – “Restoring Ukraine Together” expert, author of the analytics “The state of financing of culture and art from local budgets: main trends” for 2022.
