Final Event of the “The Danish Parliament Model: Democracy in Action for Ukraine” Project

On December 4, the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House will host a simulation of a Folketing session — the final stage of our project, in which young people have been studying the principles of parliamentary democracy in Denmark and exploring how Danish experience can be applied in Ukraine.

During the simulation, participants will:

  • model the work of parliament;

  • debate draft laws;

  • make decisions using procedures that closely mirror those of the Danish Parliament.

The event focuses on practical democracy, youth engagement, and the exchange of experience between Ukraine and Denmark.

The project is implemented by the National Interests Advocacy Network “ANTS” with the grant support of the Ukrainian-Danish Youth House.
