Historic victory of Ukraine is in the interests of Great Britain

Hanna Hopko, the head of National Interests Advocacy Network "ANTS", emphasized this during a broadcast on "Great Lviv Speaks."

"We must recognize that national interests are eternal for the United Kingdom. Ukraine's victory is in Britain's interests. As a result of the change in administration, Britain's policy will stay unchanged in all international platforms and organizations, and we see a decisive posture," she said. - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Liz Truss, was present at the Lugano Conference, and she stated during the Madrid summit: "First, defeat Russia, and then - discussions." This is in stark contrast to the perspectives of some European allies, who are attempting to determine if Ukraine, if the weapons remain, can begin talking peace plans and compromises. No, it cannot! That's why Britain is here, raising the bar and clearly saying that first the defeat of Russia — then everything else: an international tribunal, payments."

Hanna Hopko noted that Ukraine should thank Britain and Boris Johnson personally for their support and assistance.

"We thank Boris Johnson and we believe and know that his successor will continue this course," she says.

At one of the last conferences, the British signaled to both the US and the EU that military aid to Ukraine should be expanded.

"Ukraine's historic win is in Britain's best interests. And they discuss it. Why? Because this is a geopolitical signal for China in the Indo-Pacific region."

Our mission - to subjectivize Ukraine as a leader of the region and a "soft" power, a trendsetter of democratic transformations in the post-Soviet space and in New Europe.
